Causes and possible solutions of air pollution in India

Hello my dear friends,  your most welcome at the positivity spreading platform Samprabha.

Today we will discuss the core reasons for air pollution in India and discuss the scientific reason for increased pollution during the winter season, especially in NCR.

Let's start

1.The main reasons/causes of air pollution in India-

The most discussed and responsible factors for air pollution can be listed as-

  1. Automobiles (Emission of fume and various gases)

  2. Construction and destruction (small particles)
  3. Burning of fossil fuels (coal, oil, gasoline)
  4. Fire in forests
  5. Indoor activities (smoking and others)
  6. Chemical synthesis (Emission of various pollutants during the chemical reactions)
  7. Industrial pollution

  8. Agricultural activities (especially by pesticides and fertilizers, as well as burning remaining parts of crops after harvesting)
2. Why the air quality goes downside during the winter season (Especially in NCR) -

  • Change in direction of the wind- The starting of the winter season is an indicator of monsoon's withdrawal, at this time the direction of wind becomes north-west to the east which was east to west during monsoon season, that's why this direction of wind carry particles of dust from Rajasthan and Pakistan as well as Afghanistan also.

Fireworks or crackers at the occasion of Diwali - The fireworks pollute the environment very much in a very short time limit.

 3. Possible solutions and suggestions to reduce air pollution -

  • We should try to travel through public vehicles because demolition in the number of automobiles on road can reduce air pollution.
  • The government should ensure that every industry owner uses the appropriate methodology to stock the carbon emitted by the chimney.
  •  The vehicles which are emitting exceed pollutants than the decided limits by CPCB  shouldn't be permitted to use.
  •  We should focus on more and more plantation.
  • The farmers should be given the awareness that the burning of agricultural wastes is polluting our environment.
  • We should try to use an eco-friendly manner of cooking food so that our environment can become more pollution-free.
