Psychological strategies for Mental Hygiene

I hope you and yours will be safe during the pandemic of covid-19. No doubt many of us are very safe but we shouldn't ignore that a large population is feeling mental suffocation due to these crucial factors



  1. Odd circumstances of covid-19
  2. Anxiety about career 
  3. Collapsing economic conditions
  4. Boundaries 
Do you know that mental health is the most required part of health?,  Without mental health, a healthy body is like any furnished vehicle with a damaged engine. So now we are going to present suggestions for mental health that may be very good and appropriate-

1. Acceptance of Reality 

It is a generalised fact that most of the population of the world always try to pretend to hide what they are. To complete this purpose, they use many adjustment techniques as rationalisation. When we acquire this type of traits in our personality, we start the demise of our character and our adjustment goes to maladjustment. That's why we should always accept what we are and what we may become.



2. Have an Aim in Life

Having specified objectives and aim in life gives us more sustainability with our natural and psychological environment. Our aim gives direction and speed to our career without any objective human being like the wandering beasts. So if you want to live peaceful life then talk with yourself this second, why and where you are going? , Is your destination and the way of destination is right or you have to change this?


3. Create Your Good Psychological Environment

Our environment consists of two major parts: the natural environment, which includes our geographical situations and the natural resources we have, and the other is the psychological environment. The latter one is most important to decide our success.
Do you know about Curt Levin's field theory, in this theory he propounded a formula
                   B=f(P.E.)
This formula implies that behaviour is the function of the interaction between the psychological person (P/here psychological person it's used to describe all the psychological factors of a person) and the psychological environment (E).
If we choose an environment containing quarrels and disturbing factors, it will surely affect our mental hygiene.



4. Give Autonomy

New Freudian psychologist Erickson proposed the theory of psychosocial development in which he told us about different stages of human development.
The second stage of this theory is Autonomy vs doubt/shame (18 Months- 3yrs.) If you talk about this with a bird's view then we should follow remind these facts
a) If you free the child to do some activities then it will add the trait of autonomy in the child's personality
b) If you follow the spoon-feeding for the child then his future will go towards the downside.
Though Erickson gave this theory for a specified Life span. But this is always true for whole life.


Above mentioned facts and strategies may be progressive and accelerating for mental hygiene.
